The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
